Willmore Center

I led fundraising, milestone event planning and execution, campaign communications, naming opportunities, donor recognition, branding, and marketing for Ripon College’s $23.5 million Willmore Center. This building project was crucial to Ripon’s admissions goals and proved to be a huge boon for enrollment.

Bovay’s Mercantile & Study Bar

I led all aspects of Ripon College’s move from an on-campus brick-and-mortar bookstore run by an external vendor to an online bookstore and a unique college-run mercantile and study bar co-located next to students’ favorite local bbq joint across the street from campus. We partnered with a local coffee shop to provide a late-night coffee menu, launched an e-commerce site full of merchandise designed and fashioned by our students, social media, a full roster of campus and community events, and cross-listed books and merchandise. Today, the local coffee shop owner has sold his business and launched his new roasting company and the local BBQ joint has grown in a variety of ways, including expanding their business into this very space.

Corporate Naming Partner for Local Summer Concert Series Spurns Beautification Resources for Ripon Main Street

As Vice President of Ripon Main Street, I worked to establish a multi-year corporate naming opportunity for our long-standing Summer Concert Series that would provide opportunities for the organization to make greater investments downtown beautification projects and grow downtown marketing opportunities further into the Fox Valley and surrounding communities. Following this naming partnership, Ripon Main Street went on to have one of the most profitable summers on record, and in turn, we were able to plant new trees throughout the downtown, hang new banners, and support a new pergola installation project.

 

“Hearth of Campus” Fire Pit builds community

Together with students org leaders I led the planning for and implementation of the “hearth of campus” fire pit at Ripon College. This is a widely used event space to celebrate and build off of the residential experience that all areas of campus can reserve.

One Day Rally Giving Day

Each year, the Office of Marketing and Communications at Ripon has played a leading role in planning the social media, marketing, and impact reporting for the #OneDayRally giving day.
